For the Love of the Arts (FLA) Foundation
ABOUT FOR THE LOVE OF THE ARTS (FLA) FOUNDATION
The FLA Foundation is the newest component of NLP. The Foundation's mission is to educate, develop, and create a love for the Arts in communities in Columbia and South Carolina.
This non-profit foundation will sponsor and/or host a series of workshops and classes for artists who want to develop their knowledge in either literary (playwriting/screenwriting) and /or performance arts (stage/film). Also, the FLA Foundation will assist NLP in audience development for various forms of theatre (traditional, black box, and readers).
Another vision and goal of NLP is for the Foundation to be able to provide scholarships for students who want to pursue a secondary education as an Arts Major no matter what discipline they decide to pursue.
